Training @ LTHC

As everyone knows "practice makes perfect", well closer to the truth is "practice makes better". Training is taken seriously at Loughborough Town Hockey Club. All players train hard to become the best players they can be and move up the club's ranks.

Where

Loughborough Town Hockey Club is fortunate to have access to two great pitches. The Monday training takes place on the National League standard, water based pitch at Loughborough University and Wednesday's training session takes place on the high quality sand based astroturf, also at Loughborough University. Both are easily accessed with plenty of close parking available. Get me a map!.

When

Currently the mens 1st and 2nd teams and the womens 1st and 2nd teams train on Monday night on Lougborough University's water based pitch. Pitch time starts from 7:30pm with people arriving at 7:00pm to take part in warm-ups and pre-training fitness sessions. The mens 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th teams train on the Lougborough University EHB pitch on Wednesday nights with pitch time starting at 8:00pm and lasting until 9:30pm.
