Women @ LTHC

Last Season saw the introduction of a Women's section to LTHC and they have done the Club proud ever since. The new team came second in the Leicestershire and Rutland Division 1 and secured promotion into the Premier Division. This, combined with strong interest from both the local and student communities, has allowed us to expand to two teams for the forthcoming season. With membership continually growing we are keen to take on players of all ages and standards in order to expand and build upon our highly successful first season.

Training & Fixtures

This season the women have their own training slot on a Wednesday night with each team having a dedicated level one coach from the men's section. All league fixtures take place on a Saturday with and are within easy travelling distance. Both training and home games take place at Loughborough University.

Social

There is an active social scene across the club and the women are no exception. In addition to the annual club dinner, quizzes and regular Saturday night celebrations in town with the men, we also try to arrange the odd girls only event. Last season these included a number of meals out, ice skating and even just a night in with a huge takeaway and selection of films!!
